Join Us and Make an Impact. As a Senior Project Manager , you are responsible for the successful delivery of your assigned projects. This requires preparing, planning, executing and controlling all aspects of the project either directly or through delegation with the project team. Successful delivery requires monitoring and controlling financials, works schedule, resources (including subcontractors) as well as managing the project stakeholders (internal and external). This role is primarily for BMS Projects but may be required to deliver other projects as required by the Business. Key Responsibilities Responsible for the delivery of complex projects to the required quality, schedule and budget Produce and maintain appropriate project management documentation Take charge of project plan including communication, reports, implementation and programme block plan, schedule, control book and meeting agendas Present overall status of the programme to clients on a monthly basis Provide regular and accurate estimate of completion costs for individual projects Implement risk management programs and be proactive in risk mitigation strategies on a regular basis Key Experience & Capabilities Tertiary qualifications in Program or Project Management (highly desirable) Experience in PMBOK methodology, preferable with PMP certification or Prince 2 (highly desirable) Experience in BMS is highly advantageous Senior Projects Management experience with minimum of 5 years managing large scale projects in BMS, electronic security, Fire or ICT industry Managing mission/business critical projects is an advantage Manage key interdependencies between own projects and other external factors and elevate issues early Project management experience including budget ownership/management, resource allocation, scheduling, forecasting and planning Locations: Level One & Two, 9 Wilkins Street, Freeman's Bay, Auckland, AKL, 1011, NZ / 21 Bell Road South, Wellington, WLG, 5010, NZ (Hybrid) Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer, and we support a diverse workforce.
