Mathematics and Science Teacher (Years 7–13) Full time, Permanent Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher Mathematics and statistics, Science, The arts North West College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher of mathematics and science to join our growing team. As a foundation staff member, you will help shape a future-focused College that values academic excellence, creativity and meaningful relationships. The role Initially, you will teach mathematics and science to our Year 9 students. As the College grows through to Year 13, you will be confident teaching across Years 7–13 and contributing to the ongoing development of our mathematics and science programmes. Experience with the Cambridge International Curriculum is an advantage but is not essential. As a specialist creative arts college, all teaching staff contribute beyond their core subject area. You will also lead one weekly creative arts or sport programme, supporting student engagement, creativity and wellbeing. About you You will: Hold a current New Zealand practising certificate. Have proven experience teaching mathematics and science in a New Zealand secondary school. Be confident teaching across Years 7–13. Be collaborative, innovative and committed to high-quality teaching and learning. Be enthusiastic about contributing to the wider life of the College.
