In this role,you will: Lead induction, training, and capabilitydevelopment across News and Audio teams, ensuring consistent proficiency ineditorial systems and technologies. Deliver specialist field and emergencypreparedness training, strengthening resilience, business continuity, and RNZ’slifeline utility responsibilities. Bridge the gap between editorial, operational,and technology teams to drive practical system adoption and effectiveworkflows. Design and deliver organisation-wide learningprogrammes, resources, coaching, and SME-led initiatives that build technicalcapability and improve content quality, across key sites. Drive continuous improvement and innovation byidentifying opportunities to enhance systems, support emerging technologies,and provide training across all RNZ locations. Qualificationor equivalent experience in training, coaching, or learning and development,ideally within a media or content production environment. Provenability to design, deliver, and evaluate technical training programmes thatbuild systems capability and support technology adoption. Strongknowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and modernlearning approaches, including online and blended learning. Excellentcommunication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidencepresenting to senior leaders and diverse audiences. Demonstratedability to drive capability uplift, translate technical concepts into practicallearning, identify improvement opportunities, and perform effectively underpressure.
