Rooftop Solar Installer

We're looking for a reliable, hands‑on Solar Trade Assistant to support our installation teams on residential and commercial solar projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a construction or roofing background who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to develop their skills in a fast-growing industry. What You'll Be Doing Assist with the installation of solar panels, mounting systems, and cabling on residential and commercial properties Prepare, transport, and organise tools, materials, and equipment for each installation Work alongside electricians, roofers, and project managers to ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule Maintain a clean, organised, and safe worksite Complete installation paperwork and job documentation accurately Support warehouse organisation and stock management when required Follow all health and safety procedures, participate in toolbox meetings, and use PPE correctly Contribute ideas to improve installation processes and customer experience Assist with other operational duties as required What We're Looking For Experience in construction, roofing, solar, or a similar trade environment Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions Physically fit with a strong work ethic Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship A team player with good communication skills Ability to problem solve and adapt on site Full New Zealand Driver Licence Valid work rights in New Zealand Previous solar experience is an advantage but isn't essential—training provided for the right person.
