Interior Systems Installer

Overview Metro Commercial Interiors are an interior construction subcontracting company that specialise in the supply and install of suspended ceilings and commercial interior systems. Responsibilities Assist in the installation of proprietary partitions, ceilings and plasterboard lining products. Read construction drawings and interpret project requirements. Support a safe working environment by following our safe working practices. Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals. Be willing to learn and, if desired, undertake an apprenticeship. Availability to work weekends or late nights when required. Work at different site locations across the Auckland region; have own transport or access to public transport. Qualifications Any entry level construction experience would be advantageous. Ability and willingness to learn and undertake an apprenticeship (if desired/applicable). Ability to read construction drawings. A current SiteSafe passport would be advantageous, but training is provided. Team player who enjoys working in a team environment. Knowledge of or willingness to learn and abide by safe working practices. Logistics Location: Auckland region. You will be required to work at different site locations. This may require travel or access to transport. Compensation & Hours Pay: $31.61-$35 per hour. Hours: Minimum of 30 hours per week.
