The Opportunity Coronial Services are currently looking for a Wellington based Administration Support Officer. Ideal for a full‑time position, part‑time options can be discussed for the right applicant. The role requires agility and resilience in a fast‑changing environment. You will provide excellent and highly organised administrative support to Case Managers and Coroners, building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will assist Coronial Case Managers and Coroners in sensitive circumstances and may be asked to work additional hours with advance notice. Key Skills and Experience Work effectively and calmly in stressful situations Handle viewing of graphic coronial material Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organised, great at multitasking and prioritising Enjoy a reactive as well as a proactive and fast‑paced environment Professional and confident phone manner Exceptional record‑keeping skills with accurate typing and data entry Good working knowledge of Word and Excel Capable of working independently and with direction Desire to learn and adapt Relevant previous experience in similar roles Ability to travel, sometimes on short notice, and hold a full New Zealand driver’s licence About us At Tāhū o te Ture – the Ministry of Justice , we are committed to working together for a fair and safe Aotearoa.
