Duty Manager – Sherwood Queenstown Boutique Alpine Hotel 554 Frankton Road, Queenstown 9300, New Zealand Role Overview Sherwood Queenstown is a sustainability‑led, boutique hotel set on the hillside overlooking Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables. Blending rustic charm with modern comfort, Sherwood offers a unique retreat focused on wellness, creativity, and community, with thoughtfully curated rooms and a vibrant cultural calendar of live music, art, and wellness experiences. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Duty Manager coordinates and oversees the day‑to‑day running of the Front Office Department. You'll be the face of Sherwood during your shift, empowered to resolve guest requests and issues, lead the team through any situation that arises, and help maintain the exceptional standard of service Sherwood is known for. This is a rare opportunity to be part of something special, at a hotel with a genuine sense of place and purpose. This is a permanent full‑time position with a minimum guaranteed hours of 30 per week.
