Mō te tūnga | About the role 60 hours per fortnight. Wakeover shifts from 9 pm to 7 am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Pay $24.68 – $30.13 per hour, depending on qualifications. Provide overnight support to individuals with complex needs, ensuring safety, managing risk, responding to care plans, and offering compassionate, person‑centred support. Seeking a female support worker for this role due to personal care and privacy needs. Key Responsibilities Maintain continuous, person-centred care throughout the night. Monitor and manage risk, responding to incidents promptly. Follow individual care plans and adapt support as needed. Communicate effectively with clients, families and team members. Qualifications and Experience Previous experience as a Support Worker (preferred). Positive attitude and compassion. Flexibility to work rostered shifts. Calm nature and confidence to manage challenging behaviours. Proficiency in using computers and tablets daily. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Physical fitness to provide necessary support. Full NZ driver's licence. Benefits Pay of $24.68 – $30.13 per hour, with potential increase as qualifications progress.
