Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About the Role Auckland is home to some of the most significant infrastructure investment happening in Aotearoa right now, and CID is at the centre of delivering it. We're looking for an Assistant Project Manager to play a hands‑on role supporting the teams behind these high‑profile projects, delivering work that will shape services and communities for generations. You'll support the Project Director and Senior Project Manager to keep projects moving ensuring the right processes and principles are followed, and that documentation and reporting keep pace with fast‑moving delivery. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term opportunity, giving you exposure across a mix of live projects, likely including health and justice‑sector work, providing a genuine chance to build breadth early in your career. You'll also: Prepare briefings and draft correspondence for project leaders Schedule and manage meetings, produce agendas and minutes, and track follow‑up actions Maintain risk and issue registers, ensuring owners are identified and mitigation actions are progressed Produce accurate reporting for governance groups, including KPIs, Health & Safety, financials and progress Support contract variation administration, working with CID's Legal team Assist with business case development and stakeholder engagement Ko koe tēnei | About You You're highly organised, detail‑focused, and comfortable operating in a fast‑moving, government‑facing environment. Your background includes: Demonstrated experience in commercial construction and/or project management, or a strong project coordination/support background A sound understanding of construction contracts, particularly NZS 3910 and NZS 3916 (or a strong willingness to build this) Sound understanding of Health and Safety requirements for capital works projects and reporting Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks to meet deadlines Clear, confident written and verbal communication A flexible, proactive, team‑oriented approach; you're resilient, adaptable, and comfortable with change Ā mātou uara | Our Values and Culture At CID, we keep things simple, do what's right, make things happen, and build enduring relationships.
