Hours: Permanent, full-time - 40 hours per week Job specific information Are you detail‑oriented, proactive, and passionate about all things with people and culture? This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across HR and Payroll function of the Southern region. About the role Support the Southern region with recruitment of new staff. Preparing and maintaining accurate employee information such as employment agreements, variations to employment agreements, and other HR Administration documents. Employee files are kept secure, confidential, and well maintained. E‑files are maintained and up to date. Entering of employee information into Te Puna Korero and updating information when required. Reports are provided when required. Fortnightly payroll processing and functionality. About you Relevant experience in an HR administrator role. Prior payroll experience is preferred but not essential, with training provided as required. Good understanding of Holidays Act 2003. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships. Ability to work independently. Uses initiative to suggest new ideas and when appropriate take action. Goal focused. Ability to prioritise workload to achieve success. Understanding of the disability sector. Ability to relate to diverse range of people. Why us?
