Procurement Manager/Senior Procurement Manager Are you passionate about creating value through strategic sourcing and building strong partnerships? We’re looking for a Procurement Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and enjoys working with diverse categories. What you’ll do: Manage competitive procurement processes, including planning, conducting evaluations, negotiating, and consulting with relevant stakeholders. Apply your sourcing expertise to unlock opportunities and optimise for the benefit of all New Zealanders. Lead end-to-end procurement processes that deliver real impact. Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and trust. Navigate different contexts and categories with confidence and adaptability. In this position you will be managing procurement processes, rather than our Procurement Team. The salary range for this position is $89,868 - $121,330. Most new starters are typically appointed up to the midpoint of the range ($105k), depending on the knowledge, skills and experience you bring to the role. The Senior role is paid higher in the range. This position is Wellington based. Who are we looking for? Proven experience in procurement and sourcing. Understanding of the New Zealand Government procurement rules, and public sector structure (particularly regarding health) and regulations. Exceptional stakeholder management skills – you know how to engage and influence. Strong analytical and negotiation skills to drive the best outcomes. While we are primarily looking for individuals with procurement experience, we are open to receiving applicants with other relevant experience in the health sector or pharmaceutical industry to bring those perspectives to our procurement activities.
