About the Role Te Pūriri o Te Ora Regional Cancer and Blood Service, based at Auckland City Hospital, is the leading provider of cancer care in the Auckland region, serving a large and varied population of around 1.7 million people. In line with the Ministry of Health’s priority focus on Faster Cancer Treatment (FCT), Tumour Stream Coordinators prospectively track patients through the FCT pathway. This is your opportunity to work with clinical and non‑clinical staff to manage the patient journey as well as to assist in the development and implementation of alternative approaches to ensure timely quality patient care. You will also utilise data sources and communicate across the multi‑disciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for cancer patients and support their whānau. About You To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in implementing projects, sound computer and communication skills. Knowledge of hospital systems, including Trakcare and RCP, would be advantageous. Your ability to take initiative and drive progress is key to success in this role.
