Senior Payroll Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services within a large and complex organisation. This full‑time Wellington‑based position offers flexible working and a collaborative team environment. Salary and Benefits Salary range: $74,815 – $90,347 per annum, plus KiwiSaver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary reflecting individual skills and experience. Responsibilities In this role you’ll be a subject‑matter expert, providing specialist advice, resolving complex issues, influencing best practice and helping ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. Qualifications Previous knowledge of SAP payroll processing or similar Experience running a fortnightly pay process, out‑of‑cycle payments and pay‑day filing processes Experience with complex payroll calculations Strong technical knowledge of payroll legislation, including the Holidays Act, Employment Relations Act, Parental Leave, Employment Protection Act and associated payroll obligations Expertise in providing exceptional customer service in a high‑volume environment while consistently meeting service standards Applications close at Midnight – Monday, 20 July 2026. #J-18808-Ljbffr
