Job Description Heavy mechanical workshop We’re on the hunt for an enthusiastic all‑rounder to join the team and help us keep things moving. About the Role Reporting to the Service manager, as a key member of our Oamaru Workshop, you’ll be involved in both front counter service and stores operations. You’ll be the face of WH to our customers while also keeping things humming behind the scenes. This role would suit a Mechanic that want to step back off the tools Your day will include Serving customers in person, by phone, and online Picking, packing, and dispatching orders accurately and efficiently Receiving goods, data entry into inventory system, and stock control Working with Our Service Manager and Field Techs to assist them to get the right parts here in a timely manner to keep our Customers vehicles and machinery running Processing sales and preparing required documentation and invoicing Supporting stocktakes and cyclic counts Ensuring excellent customer service and safe work practices What You’ll Bring Experience in automotive or heavy transport industry Good knowledge of parts diagrams and how to obtain them A positive attitude and willingness to learn Strong attention to detail and good computer skills Physically fit and happy to roll up your sleeves to get the job done Great communication and a team player mindset Forklift licence is a bonus (or willingness to get one) We offer: Competitive pay and stable full‑time work Ongoing training and career development Staff discounts and a vehicle for work related tasks and company phone Supportive team with great job stability Ready to get stuck in and grow with us?
