Job Description

As a Commercial Analyst Intern, you’ll be part of the Gilmours team. This role focuses on pricing and promotions, with the goal of helping Gilmours offer great everyday value to customers. You’ll work closely with Category Managers and Category Assistants, combining data analysis with hands on category support. Key responsibilities Support pricing and promotions analysis for Gilmours, helping assess value, performance, and opportunities to improve pricing strategy. Assist Category Managers and Category Assistants across Fresh categories with day‑to‑day category support activities. Support category reviews and pricing architecture work alongside the commercial insights team. Help implement and review pricing strategy changes, including analysing results and identifying improvement opportunities. Produce clear insights using data, primarily in Excel, to support category and pricing decisions. About you You’re studying towards a commerce/law or IT degree, or a related field, and you’re interested in how pricing, promotions, and category decisions shape customer value. You enjoy working with data, have some experience using Excel, and have a strong eye for detail. You’re a self‑starter who’s comfortable working independently but also enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
