About the role We are seeking 2 psychiatrists who are either looking for full‑time (preferably) or part‑time roles in the vibrant Christchurch to join our South Community team. In this role you will work within our Adult General Service as part of our integrated system, providing a variety of presentations including crisis assessment, inpatient and community assessment, and under‑care work. Experience in adult mental health – which could include inpatient, outpatient, alcohol and drug services and rehabilitation – is essential. You will work within quality‑driven, forward‑thinking multidisciplinary teams where collaboration and professionalism are a priority. As a psychiatrist you will have a lead role within established multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the ongoing development of client‑centred frameworks and delivering innovative acute and long‑term care that meets individuals’ needs. To be considered for this role you must be eligible to gain registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. Registration eligibility is required. Culture Health is ultimately all about people.
