Job Description
Enterprise Portfolio Manager Shape investment decisions – provide the insights that help NZQA prioritise, sequence and deliver change effectively. Help shape what's next – join an expanding ePMO and influence how portfolio management and enterprise governance mature across NZQA. Fixed term until 30 June 2028 – play a key role in delivering a significant multi‑year transformation portfolio. About the role As Enterprise Portfolio Manager, you’ll maintain NZQA’s enterprise‑wide view of projects, programmes and change initiatives, providing insight into priorities, risks, dependencies, capacity and delivery confidence. Working closely with senior leaders, sponsors and project teams, you’ll help ensure the right work is delivered at the right time and in the right sequence. This role is focused on portfolio planning, analysis, prioritisation and supporting portfolio‑level decision making across NZQA. Qualifications Experience working within an Enterprise Programme Management Office (ePMO), portfolio office, or complex programme environment. Experience supporting enterprise portfolio planning, prioritisation and governance. Strong analytical capability, including identifying dependencies, constraints, risks and capacity impacts across multiple initiatives. The ability to translate complex information into clear, practical insights for senior leaders and governance groups. Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with a collaborative and enterprise‑wide mindset.
