About the role: We have a vacancy available in our Headoffice, based in Mt Wellington, for a highly motivated and experienced BIM Modeler to join our AC Contracts Department. As a BIM Modeler, you will be responsible for producing accurate, coordinated Revit models and workshop drawings for HVAC projects, from design through to delivery. You will also be involved in BIM coordination and clash management, design and detailed engineering of HVAC systems, and the preparation of tender estimates and cost plans for design & build and specified projects when required. This role involves liaising with clients and their design groups, and coordinating with staff and subcontractors to ensure the best possible price and quality outcomes that meet client specifications. The key skills required for this role include: Relevant industry-recognised BIM certifications are required, demonstrating competency in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks Manage, BIM Coordination, Clash Detection, and BIM workflows. Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) certifications or equivalent internationally recognised qualifications will be highly regarded. Minimum 3 years' experience working in a BIM environment. Minimum 5 years' experience in the construction and engineering industry, preferably within Mechanical Services (HVAC), Building Services, or related disciplines. Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit for mechanical services modelling. Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks Manage, including clash detection, clash analysis, and coordination workflows. A relevant qualification in Engineering, Building Services, Drafting, Architecture, or a related field would be advantageous. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documentation. Knowledge of BIM standards, modelling best practices, model quality control procedures, and BIM execution workflows. Experience working with consultant and contractor models across architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fire disciplines. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting project deadlines. What can we offer you?
