The Custodial Services Delivery Manager roles are pivotal in our custodial environment and will offer you the opportunity to showcase your skill and capability; to demonstrate visible leadership; and to drive high performance through the motivation, development, and encouragement of others. As a Custodial Services Delivery Manager, you will be expected to, as required, perform all the relevant duties across a range of key operational areas for SHCF, as well as leading and supporting our staff. Roles in the Custodial Services Delivery Manager include the Custodial Systems Manager, Operational Support Manager, Security Manager/Reception & Movements Manager and Residential Manager. These areas have traditionally been managed through dedicated managerial appointments (job descriptions attached). As a Custodial Services Delivery Manager however, you will demonstrate the flexibility, skill, agility and potential to perform across all areas as and when required by the business. As a successful candidate you will initially be assigned one of the key operational areas, in which case the relevant job description will apply. Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience We would like to hear from you if you are an experienced leader with: In depth knowledge of legislation, policy, assurance, and compliance requirements governing Corrections operations. Proven emergency management, operational, financial, and business systems experience at a senior level. Exceptional communication skills, initiative, and leadership qualities. Resilience, courage, and determination to influence and succeed at both a strategic and operational level. A focus on innovation, continuous improvement, and best practice implementation, championing regional and national initiatives. The commitment to develop staff and improve performance in a change environment. A high level of understanding and anticipation of political and reputational risk. The ability to understand & respect different cultural perspectives, particularly in relation to te ao Māori. Wairua – we are unified and focused in our efforts. Ngā painga | The benefits The salary scale for this role is B2 of Frontline Managers Collective agreement. Employees will be appointed to step 1 of the pay scale from $116,286.
