Registered Nurse - Day Surgery Unit – Southland Hospital Salary Band $85,400 - $111,596 plus KiwiSaver. 0.8 FTE / 64 hours per fortnight. Permanent vacancy x 2. About the role Our Day Surgery Unit is a one-stop shop, providing surgery to patients of all ages from a wide range of surgical specialties. Dental ENT Endoscopy General Surgery Gynaecology Orthopaedic Plastics Urology Paediatrics Care for patients’ rights across the continuum of care from preadmissions through to discharge. DSU also accommodates patients admitted for a variety of non‑theatre procedures. Monday to Friday, Day 8‑hour shifts. About you Post‑operative surgical experience a must Registered Nurse with APC Recent and relevant experience within a NZ clinical setting Willingness to promote and champion quality initiatives Salary Range This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the RN pay scale, between step 2 $81,683 and step 7 $106,739 per annum, dependent on relevant experience.
