Receiving Assistant - Part time - Lynnmall Want a behind the scenes role where you can really get things moving? Varied, High Impact Role -Large, Dynamic Retailer Farmers is New Zealand's largest department store. We sell a variety of items in large quantities. Not surprisingly, to keep our stores well stocked, we need expert Store Receiving Assistants to oversee the receiving and dispatching functions. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring all merchandise reaches our trading floor as smoothly and quickly as possible, and that orders are dispatched to customer's on-time. Although this is a "behind the scenes role", it is a pivotal one, where you'll liaise with the management team, distribution centre, and team members on a daily basis. This is a part‑time position requiring availability to work the following roster: Tuesday: 9:00am – 2:30pm Thursday: 9:00am – 2:30pm Friday: 9:00am – 2:30pm To excel in this role you'll have: Be physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving large amounts of stock on a daily basis Excellent Organizational Skills Good Administration Skills Attention to Detail Proven Computer Skills You'll be able to work independently, stay calm under pressure and take initiative in order to really get things moving!
