About the role This is a Full time, Fixed Term Contract until June 2027. The core function of the Marketing and Communications team, based across Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland and Pōneke / Wellington, is to develop and deliver integrated internal and external communications and marketing campaigns that strengthen client relationships, deliver differentiated value and insights to PwC’s clients, and engage our people with the firm’s strategy and priorities. The Marketing and Communications Manager works within a national team of specialists, partnering with multidisciplinary teams and business unit leaders to deliver end-to-end marketing and communications strategies that drive engagement and support business and client growth. This role acts as a senior advisor to sector and business unit teams on best practice go-to-market strategy & campaign execution. It also offers the opportunity to work within the rapidly evolving world of AI and emerging technologies, supporting innovative initiatives across a dynamic and fast‑changing business environment. Skills you will bring or develop in this role 10+ years’ experience across marketing and communications, ideally within service‑based industries such as financial services, professional services, engineering, or infrastructure environments. Degree qualified in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management capability, with strong written communication and project management skills. Proven experience operating within a large corporate environment, with the ability to navigate complexity and engage multiple stakeholders effectively. Exposure to technology, digital products, or technology‑related communications/marketing initiatives would be beneficial. Development and implementation of marketing and communications strategies. Strong people skills and a collaborative mindset, to build trust and credibility with stakeholders. Excellent communication skills, confident in writing and editing, and adept at working as a trusted advisor to senior leaders. Proven project management and organisational skills, capable of managing complexity and multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment, with a constructive approach to feedback and high resilience and adaptability.
