Job Description
Installation Manager The Installation Manager is a critical role that will manage, organise and carry out the day-to-day management of our installations. Responsibilities Site visits for installation assessments and obtaining final measurements Ongoing training and development of the installers on best practise installation techniques Organisation of installation materials On-site direction and on-tools for most critical/complex projects Liaising with the Production team and Sales team Customer-facing liaison and interaction Trouble shooting and remedial work where required Requirements Sound building knowledge; trade qualified with a good understanding of building principles; reads and interprets building plans and drawings; solid understanding of weather tightness requirements; can easily manage window installations into various cladding types Good people manager; can relate well to customers and other staff members Good people manage; has the ability to get the best out of co-workers Quality focused; takes great pride in their work and is accountable for what they deliver Problem-solving skills; the ability to identify potential problems in advance, the confidence to overcome them and the sensibility to ask for help when needed Professional; is presentable, has a high level of integrity, recognises trust is critical in dealing with people's homes and can communicate with clients as to their job specifics High energy; self motivated and has the ability to lead and motivate others This role offers a great opportunity for someone to establish themselves into a rapidly growing business. Remuneration package will be dependant on skill set and experience of the successful candidate. Technical Manager The Technical Manager is a newly appointed role that will ultimately deliver key technical support to the manufacturing production of high quality European PVCu windows and doors. Key things we are looking for: A desire to figure things out : You focus on the why and the how rather than the what. You get satisfaction out of pulling things apart knowing you can successfully piece it all back together again. A thirst for learning: There is likely to be a steep learning curve for the successful applicant so you must have the ability to soak up new information and apply it. Strong technical aptitude: Can think logically and creatively and can turn theoretical concepts into real-world application. Problem-solving skills: The potential to identify potential problems in advance,he confidence to overcome them and the sensibility to ask for help when needed. Maths and mechanical skills: Understands mechanical systems and the relationships between them as well as being well versed in basic trigonometry. Positive attitude: Enjoys the challenge and satisfaction of completing jobs and works in a collaborative manner with others. Naturally and experience in the windows and door manufacturing sector would be advantageous.
