Description Concrete Placer – Higgins Palmerston North Higgins Palmerston North is looking for a motivated and hardworking Concrete Placer to join our team. This role will see you involved in a variety of concrete activities across the region. If you enjoy hands on work, take pride in quality finishes, and want to be part of a supportive crew, this could be the opportunity for you. What You’ll Be Doing Preparing, placing and finishing concrete to a high standard Laying concrete kerb and channel Operating small plant and equipment safely and efficiently Supporting general construction activities as required Working as part of a team to deliver safe, high quality outcomes for our customers What You’ll Bring To The Role Experience preparing and finishing concrete Experience laying concrete kerb & channel Knowledge of standard methods, materials, tools and equipment used in concrete construction and maintenance Full and clean Class 1 licence – Class 2 with WTR endorsements is an advantage Physically fit, reliable and punctual Willingness to work flexible hours – our business operates Monday to Sunday A positive attitude and commitment to working safely Come Join The Green Team Competitive hourly rate Permanent, full time role with guaranteed 40 hours per week KiwiSaver employer contribution matched up to 4% Opportunities to upskill and gain further licences Great benefits for you and your family Higgins is a leading roading and civil infrastructure company in New Zealand.
