Secondary Science Teacher (Tauranga)

Overview OneSchool Global Tauranga Campus is recruiting a full-time permanent science teacher (preferably physics, earth and space science and/or horticulture) to join our team. Starting Term 3 or asap. In this role, you\'ll have the opportunity to engage students both in-person and via Zoom across our campuses nationwide. Your duties will involve delivering captivating science lessons, facilitating hands-on experiments, and providing valuable feedback to enrich student learning experiences. Recent knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA requirements is essential as you prepare students for success in their assessments and beyond. Responsibilities Deliver science lessons to students in person and via Zoom across campuses. Facilitate hands-on experiments and practical activities. Provide timely feedback to support student learning and progress. Prepare students for success in New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA assessments. Collaborate with colleagues to support a coherent cross-campus science program. Qualifications Experience teaching science in New Zealand, with knowledge of NZ Curriculum and NCEA requirements. New Zealand-based teaching experience preferred; familiarity with NCEA is advantageous. Ability to engage students using diverse teaching modalities and technologies. Relocation assistance available if required. New Zealand-based experience is required, preferably including experience with NCEA.
