Job Description
1-year post-Graduate to Senior Civil/Geotechnical Engineer - Gisborne LDE are a well-resourced professional engineering consulting company delivering complex infrastructure recovery projects across the Gisborne District. We are needing to appoint a civil engineer with some geotechnical interest or experience to support our future programmes of work. Our Gisborne office is home to a multidisciplinary team of civil and geotechnical engineers, engineering geologists, environmental scientists and project managers. Our approach to developing a well‑rounded engineer will see you involved from proposal and engagement through to engineering recommendations, designs of a specialist nature and budget management. This role supports the delivery of projects in Gisborne and is an integral member of the civil team. You will have the tools and scope to lean into projects and genuinely contribute to your own future and LDE’s reputation. A bonus would be if you have MSQA and contract management experience with NZS:3910. Essential Elements Required Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) 1+ year post‑graduate civil consultancy experience Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook) Able to live and work in New Zealand indefinitely Current driver’s license – at least Restricted Preferred: Contract management of NZS:3910 in civil infrastructure.
