\n We're gearing up for the busy season and looking for multiple Paving and Surfacing Labourers starting in he coming weeks.

On Offer:
<\/p>\n

- Days\/Time of Work: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00 pm
<\/span><\/li>\n- \-> Start and finish time may vary (night shift, weekend work as required and communicated by client)
<\/span><\/li>\n- Pay: $26 \- $35 per hour, depending on your skill set
<\/span><\/li>\n- Permanent or temp to perm opportunity depending on candidate
<\/span><\/li>\n- Up to $1,200 sign\-up bonuses for NZ\-based applicants
<\/span>
<\/li>\n <\/ul>Skills Required:
<\/p>\n- \n
- At least 6 months of relevant experience in Paving and Surfacing or a relevant qualification
<\/span><\/li>\n- Ability to pass a drug test and criminal record check
<\/span><\/li>\n- Must have good communication skills
<\/span><\/li>\n- Must be physically fit and own transportation
<\/span><\/li>\n- Right to work in New Zealand (Work visa holders considered)
<\/span>
<\/li>\n <\/ul>Tasks Include:
<\/p>\n- \n
- Spreading stone chips, gravel and cold\-mix asphalt onto road surfaces
<\/span><\/li>\n- Sprinkling and brushing hot and cold\-mix asphalt over surfaces
<\/span><\/li>\n- Operating tank\-truck distributors and hoses to spray tar and road oils and emulsions
<\/span><\/li>\n- Tripping tailgate levers to discharge hot\-mix asphalt into paving machines
<\/span><\/li>\n- Shoveling asphalt mix and compacting mix using rakes and hand tampers
<\/span><\/li>\n- Cutting and trimming damaged surfaces using jack\-hammers and softening edges with blowtorches
