Toby’s Sea Food is a popular sea food takeaway store with its branches in Auckland . We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated two Assistant Store Manager at our store in Glen Eden , Auckland. We are a busy and fast-growing sea food takeaway.
\nThe Assistant Store M anager is responsible for the day-to-day running of our stores, including training, and coaching of team members, delivering excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, creating business strategies to attract new customers, preparing detailed sales reports and monitoring inventory levels on new stock.

\nIdeal candidates should have at least a two -year relevant work experience in a similar industry or fast-food industry or Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) and OR a relevant qualification at level of level 4 and above preferably in business or management .
\nAssistant Store Manager :
\nCore duties includ e but not limited to;
\n• Provide an excellent level of customer service and drive a customer service culture across the store
\n• E nsuring that customers receive prompt service and quality goods and services .
\n• R esponding to customers' inquiries and complaints about goods and services .
\n• P lanning and preparing work schedules and assigning staff to specific duties .
\n• I nterviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, dismissing and promoting staff, and resolving staff grievances .
\n• I nstructing staff on how to handle difficult and complicated sales procedures;
\n• E xamining returned goods and deciding on appropriate action;
\n• T aking inventory of goods for sale and ordering new stock;
\n• E nsuring that goods and services are correctly priced;
\n• E nsuring safety and security procedures are enforced.
\n• Be responsible for running shifts and the store in an efficient way
\n• P romoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services
\n• S elling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use
\n• M aintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
\n• C ontrolling selection, training and supervision of staff
\n• Direct and motivate a team within our busy store.
\n• Be part of ordering, managing wastage and controlling labour costs .
\n• Assist with the overall running and management of a busy fast-food environment .
\n• Ensure all statutory, as well as establishment, hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to
\nWe are looking for people with :
\n• Supervisory experience and the ability to lead a team
\n• Some business understanding to help with the running of the store

\n• Our stores operate late in the evenings and are 7-day trading stores. This role is fulltime and there is an expectation that you will need to work across the trading hours to ensure you are across all elements of the business and trading patterns. Please note that we do operate within a fixed shift labour model which means you will have set days and hours to work.
\nTo be considered for this role you should be able to provide previous work references.
\nWorking on weekends and will be available on calls (if required) for this position.
\nHourly wage rate: $ 28 - $3 5 per hour depending on experience and skills.
\nFull time employment - minimum 30hrs max 45hours
\nRequirements:
\nIdeal candidates should have at least a two-year relevant work experience in a similar or fast-food industry or Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) and OR a relevant qualification at level of level 4 and above preferably in business or management.
\nPr eference will be given to candidates who are already in New Zealand and has relevant work experience.
\nAll suitable candidates should be able to pass a drug test and a Ministry of Justice/Police check when required.
