A rare opportunity to lead regional operations, drive business growth, and shape the future of Horizon Services Limited. As Regional Manager, you'll oversee Auckland and Waikato areas, based in Pukekohe - Auckland, ensuring strong performance, motivated teams, and sustainable growth across our service streams.

About the Role\n

You'll lead regional operations, people, performance, and business development across Horizon Services Limited. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strong, motivated leadership
  • \n
  • Ensuring profitable, sustainable business growth aligned with strategic plans
  • \n
  • Leading bids, tenders, pricing reviews, and project profitability analysis
  • \n
  • Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction
  • \n
  • Developing capability, succession planning, and high–performing teams
  • \n
  • Building strong client relationships and identifying new business opportunities
  • \n
  • Ensuring operational excellence through planning, reporting, forecasting, and continuous improvement
  • \n
  • Championing SWITCH values and driving a culture of safety, innovation, and accountability
  • \n
About You\n

You’ll bring senior leadership experience and deep industry knowledge, ideally across electrical, power, building services, or construction.

\n

You will also have:

\n
    \n
  • 10+ years in senior management or business ownership
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of industry regulations, compliance, and service delivery
  • \n
  • Proven ability to lead teams, motivate staff, and build capability
  • \n
  • Experience managing P&L, budgets, forecasting, and operational performance
  • \n
  • Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • \n
  • Ability to identify risks, solve problems, and implement improvements
  • \n
  • Excellent judgement, planning, and decision‑making skills
  • \n
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and delivering exceptional service
  • \n
Qualifications\n
    \n
  • Engineering degree or relevant construction industry experience
  • \n
  • Trade or tertiary qualification in electrical, power, or building services
  • \n
  • Current NZ Driver Licence.
