Job Description

A well-maintained, fit-for-purpose earthmoving fleet is crucial in our 'Done Right' approach to delivering every project. As an experienced Diesel Mechanic, you will spend most of your day on the tools, servicing and repairing our machinery and vehicles — which includes excavators, scrapers, rollers, graders, dozers, trucks, and tractors along with light vehicles and trailers. In our modern purpose-built workshop, you’ll have access to the latest fleet-servicing technology, including a 20-metre truck hoist and brake roller set-up. You will work closely with our workshop team and be responsible for completing preventative maintenance, services and repairs, WoF and CoF pre checks, along with helping source and order parts and consumables. You will be, at times, working in the field or workshop unsupervised and must be able to work safely on your own from time to time. What You Will Need 2 or more years’ experience with heavy earthmoving machinery Efficient time management Self‑motivation and ability to work safely and unsupervised Ability to complete a job to a high standard (no shortcuts) Sound understanding of health and safety Class 1 license — 2 to 5 would be an advantage What's In It For You You’ll be part of a team who love what they do and work together to get the job done right.
