We bring together exceptional people to build a better working world. We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Private Clients team in Christchurch. In this role, you will deliver a broad range of accounting, tax and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries. Our clients span the full business lifecycle, from fast‑paced start‑ups through to established organisations, high net worth individuals and household names. You will work with clients both locally and internationally as they grow and evolve. You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality client outcomes while contributing to a collaborative and inclusive team culture. Deliver accounting, tax and advisory services across a range of engagements Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to team development Apply commercial and technical insight to provide practical, client‑focused solutions We’re looking for a proactive and motivated professional with strong technical capability and a collaborative mindset. Relevant degree in Accounting; CA ANZ or CPA (completed or in progress) Experience in financial reporting and New Zealand tax, with an understanding of market trends Strong relationship management skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and clients Well‑developed communication skills and proficiency with tools such as Excel, PowerBI or Xero Ko Taku Rourou | What we offer you At EY, we’ll fuel you and your extraordinary talents in a diverse and inclusive culture of globally connected teams.
