Overview Mō te tūnga – Based at Waikeria Prison, this rewarding and challenging role requires an enthusiastic, self‑motivated, committed individual to perform a wide range of office administration tasks in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Provide general administrative support to teams and management. Manage correspondence: emails, phone calls, incoming and outgoing mail/orders. Liaise with management, the public, and partner organisations and services. General reception and front‑desk duties. Book whanau visits for the wāhine in our care. Manage administration functions to support site operations. Record management and ensure documentation meets Department timelines and standards. Support the site by setting up meeting invites, taking minutes, recording actions, communicating with external stakeholders and filing. Qualifications and Experience Strong commitment to manaaki in all day‑to‑day interactions. Sound experience and knowledge of office administration practices. Resilience navigating challenging situations in a dynamic environment, with a pragmatic approach to problem‑solving. Strong organisational skills, ability to adapt, multitask, and meet deadlines. Collaborative mindset, contributing positively as part of a dynamic team of administrators. Excellent interpersonal skills, working with people from diverse backgrounds in a friendly and non‑judgemental manner. High integrity, maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive and personal information. Proficiency in computer software and database systems, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel), and ability to quickly learn new systems. Eligibility Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen, holder of a New Zealand residence permit, Australian citizen, or Australian resident with a current Resident Return Visa, and possess a full New Zealand driver licence. Benefits Salary range: $64,717 – $68,434 per annum, with appointment and remuneration reflecting skills and experience relevant to the role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
