Our Hamilton tima is looking for a Kaitohu Matua | Senior Advisor. This is a full time, fixed term opportunity through until April 2027.Te whai w hitanga | The opportunityThis is an opportunity for someone who enjoys meaningful, relationship-based work and wants to make a tangible difference in the community.As part of this tima, youll contribute to a range of high-impact workstreams across the WaikatoWaiariki rohe. Much of our mahi focuses on working closely with PostSettlement Governance Entities (PSGEs), contributing to accords, and supporting M ori economic development and growth.The Senior Advisor leads work with wh nau, hapu, iwi, M ori organisations and communities to deliver initiatives that strengthen longterm social and economic outcomes for M ori. Youll lead and maintain strong relationships with PSGEs and other M ori entities, and act as a key conduit between Te Puni Kokiri, M ori communities and partners, ensuring information flows effectively in both directions.Youll analyse local insights on M ori views, aspirations and experiences to inform policy thinking, and lead the provision of highquality advice to the Ministers Office, including overseeing fasttrack file notes. Youll also provide mentoring and coaching to Advisors across the region.The likely appointment range is $105,100 - $116,777 based on skills and experience.
