Principal – Area / Composite (Years 1–15) English, Health and Physical Education, Learning Languages, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social Sciences, Technology, Te ao Māori, the Arts KingsWay is a supportive Christian community and a State‑Integrated Christian Area School in Red Beach, New Zealand, with a roll of 2,100 from Year 1 through to Year 13. We are looking for an experienced educator and servant leader with a deep faith and a calling to grow KingsWay’s strong academic record. As Principal you will lead the school, foster a thriving Christian community, uphold our values and Statement of Faith, and support students’ and staff's wellbeing. Responsibilities Lead the overall governance and daily management of the school, ensuring alignment with the mission to nurture servant leaders. Promote academic excellence and uphold high standards in curriculum delivery across all subjects. Champion student well‑being and maintain a strong record of wellbeing initiatives. Collaborate with teachers, parents and the community to enable a Christian, culturally inclusive learning environment. Represent the school in the broader Christian and educational community. Qualifications Extensive experience in teaching and leadership roles, particularly in a Christian or faith‑based setting. Demonstrated excellence in student wellbeing and academic outcomes. Strong knowledge of Te Ao Māori and an ability to integrate cultural perspectives within a Christian framework. Commitment to Christian education and willingness to contribute to religious instruction. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
