As a Catering Assistant , you will help deliver high-quality catering services at Fonterra Te Rapa . Working as part of a supportive team, you'll assist with food preparation, customer service, and maintaining a safe, clean environment while creating a positive experience for customers every day. This is a Casual position where hours of work are on an "as and when" basis required upon business needs. Responsibilities Assist with preparing, plating, and presenting food for service. Deliver friendly and professional customer service, ensuring customer needs are met promptly. Maintain clean and hygienic kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing and equipment cleaning. Operate point-of-sale systems, handle cash transactions, and support daily catering operations. Support stock replenishment, food safety compliance, and general site duties as required. Qualifications Experience in hospitality, catering, retail, or a customer service environment. A positive team player who can also work independently when required. Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused approach. Physically fit, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
