Join a friendly and supportive team environment! 3 extra Customs' service leave days Auckland based - part-time 20 hours per week Salary - $96,000 - $110,000 (dependent on skills and experience) We’re looking for a passionate and skilled HR data analyst to join our team as HR Systems and Reporting Analyst. This opportunity is a part-time role, working 20 hours per week, based in our Auckland Customhouse. About this role The HR Systems and Reporting Analyst role reports to the Team Leader HRIS Payroll and Reporting and takes responsibility for completing all aspects of HR related reporting and analysis for both internal and external customers. The role also contributes to management of key HR systems and provides support to the payroll function. Requirements Background in HRIS, payroll and data analytics with experience in providing analysis and support to managers, ideally with experience in central government or a relevant business environment. Extensive computer system experience, including Microsoft Excel to an advanced level, experience writing SQL select queries, PowerBI reports, and VBA macros. Demonstrated ability to identify improvement opportunities and implement changes with a customer focused approach. A commitment to service excellence through continuous improvement and innovation. An approachable and open operating style linked to a “can do” attitude and desire to find workable solutions that meet the needs of managers and are compliant with legislation and/or policy requirements. Ability to develop a strong understanding of Customs operational delivery and alignment of advice, support, services to the need. Ability to build and maintain effective internal relationships as well as identify and establish required external relationships building strength and rapport in maintaining and sustaining those relationships. Strong problem solving and decision-making capability, including the ability to identify problems, manage or mitigate risks and implement innovative solutions that align with strategic direction. Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage own time, prioritise activities, plan projects or groups of activities, and to manage all aspects within specified timeframes. Excellent communication skills both verbally and written with the ability to communicate complex and analytical data to wide ranging audiences at all levels.
