Job Description
Mō te tūnga | About the role Health Administrator's provide effective, efficient and accurate support to the Defence Health Centre at RNZAF Ohakea. Scheduling appointments. Answering patient queries by phone and email. Managing referrals to specialist health care providers. Liaising with ACC units. Processing accounts. Maintaining medical files. Maintaining communications. Providing ongoing coordination and communication between patients and clinical staff is an essential part of this role. Due to the nature of this role, there is no option to work remotely. Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and Experience At least three years' administrative experience, ideally within a health setting. Front line customer service experience and proven ability to provide exceptional support to all stakeholders. Confident, pro‑active communication and relationship management skills. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Experience using medical practice management systems (such as PROFILE/MedTech32) is preferred but not essential. Minimum security clearance: New Zealand citizen or permanent resident; must meet background checks and meet citizenship and residency criteria as outlined by the NZ Defence Force security clearance policy.
