About the Role Advance your rehabilitation career in a supportive team committed to helping patients achieve their goals. Based primarily within the inpatient rehabilitation service at Tauranga Hospital, you will work with a diverse caseload across neurological, complex medical, and post-operative conditions while collaborating with experienced Allied Health and multidisciplinary teams. You will also benefit from ongoing mentoring, clinical supervision, and opportunities to further develop your rehabilitation expertise. You'll work alongside experienced Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants in a supportive environment where mentoring and professional growth are encouraged. You are an experienced Physiotherapist with a passion for rehabilitation and delivering high quality patient care. You have experience supporting people with a range of neurological, chronic, complex, and post-operative conditions, and enjoy working collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes. With strong clinical reasoning, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to evidence based practice, you'll thrive in a team that values continuous learning, innovation, and patient‑centred care. What you will bring Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand and a current Annual Practicing Certificate Minimum two years post‑registration clinical experience, preferably within rehabilitation Experience managing patients with neurological, chronic, complex, and post‑operative rehabilitation needs Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and rehabilitation planning skills Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to evidence‑based practice and ongoing professional development A patient‑centred approach with a commitment to equitable health outcomes Working for Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
