Clinical Team Co-ordinator - Specialist Mental Health Services (0.7FTE) Fixed-Term position available until (17/05/2027) due to a current Secondment within the team. Senior nursing role responsible for the coordination of service delivery after-hours. Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current APC and must have a mental health scope of practice. About the Role We are seeking a Clinical Team Co-ordinator to provide clinical oversight for Specialist Mental Health Services across the division. Specialist Mental Health Service (SMHS) is the major provider of mental health services for the Canterbury District Health Board. The service aims to provide excellence of care for people with mental illness, ensuring their dignity, safety and independence. Services are provided at Hillmorton Hospital, The Princess Margaret Hospital, Christchurch community sites and Ashburton Hospital. The Clinical Team Co-ordinator (CTC) is a senior nursing role working in partnership with the Duty Nurse Managers to facilitate optimum care and coordinated multi-disciplinary team service delivery after hours for SMHS, to consumers and their families. The CTC confidently provides advanced clinical care, leadership and coordination of the MDT and coordination of any emergency responses after hours. This is a (0.7FTE), Fixed-Term position available until (17/05/2027) due to a current Secondment within the team. The role covers afternoon shift only (15:10-23:10) following a 3 days on, 3 days off roster pattern.
