Driven by our brand values of being real, generous, curious and sustainably minded, we take a collaborative approach and foster a culture where ideas are heard, united in our goal to be the world’s most human‑centred, #1 premium appliance brand. As our Social Media Specialist, you will lead our global social media strategy, bringing our premium brand to life through engaging storytelling, creative content and meaningful conversations with audiences around the world. This role combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution and reports to the Head of Performance Marketing. Responsibilities What you’ll be doing: Leading our global social media strategy – develop and implement a cohesive strategy that aligns with our global brand direction while supporting regional marketing and commercial objectives. Creating engaging content – collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop compelling paid and organic content, manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery across all social platforms. Building audience engagement – manage conversations across our social channels, work alongside Customer Experience teams when required, build relationships with influencers and partners, and ensure every interaction reflects our brand values. Turning insights into action – monitor performance, analyse campaign effectiveness, and use data‑driven insights to continually optimise content, audience engagement and return on investment. Staying ahead of what’s next – identify emerging trends, platform developments and new opportunities, share knowledge across the marketing team and help shape future social media capability. Qualifications About you: You're an experienced social media professional who understands how to build engaged communities and create content that delivers measurable business outcomes. Equally comfortable thinking strategically and executing day‑to‑day activity, you enjoy working collaboratively across teams and thrive in a fast‑paced, creative environment. You’ll also bring: Proven experience developing and delivering social media strategies across multiple platforms. Strong experience managing both paid and organic social campaigns. Excellent copywriting, communication and content planning skills. Experience using social media management platforms such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite or similar. Strong analytical capability with experience using performance data and Google Analytics to optimise results. Experience managing influencer relationships and external partners. Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. A passion for digital marketing, creativity and staying ahead of emerging social media trends. Benefits What we offer: a competitive salary, flexible working, ongoing development and excellent growth and progression opportunities. As a valued member of our team you’ll enjoy generous discounts on Fisher & Paykel and Haier products, free parking on site at our Auckland HQ and a subsidised cafe. Why Fisher & Paykel? We’re driven by a simple idea: to improve life through good design. That philosophy extends beyond our products to how we work together, develop our people and connect with customers worldwide. You’ll join a global organisation where creativity, innovation and collaboration are encouraged, and you’ll have the opportunity to shape how one of New Zealand’s most recognised premium brands engages with audiences worldwide.
