Job Description
Clinical Administration Support, Nelson Hospital, Permanent Part Time Working in a rewarding, positive and fast paced environment. The role enables in making a meaningful contribution for patients and their families Opportunity to work with a supportive and dynamic team of nurses, doctors and the wider team of Clinical Administration. About the Role As Clinical Administration Support, you will apply your attention to detail, skill for data management and accuracy in supporting our clinical staff in accessing vital patient clinical content which saves lives and improves our patient's care journey. This role involves producing accurate records, assisting patients and staff with queries as well as general administrative duties as may be needed. It is a permanent role, working 40 hours per fortnight (0.5 FTE) Monday to Friday. Hours are 8.00 AM to 12.00 PM. About the Team/Service/Location Our team of Clinical Administration play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facilities. By providing essential administrative and secretarial assistance, we enable clinical teams to focus on delivering exceptional patient care. From coordinating schedules to managing documentation, we are the backbone of the hospital's daily operations. About you As Clinical Administration Support, you will: have a bright, outgoing personality and will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering a consistently high level of customer service; be a competent typist and possess a sound knowledge of the MS Office Suite; be highly empathetic and respect the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality; have demonstrated the ability to manage a busy workload. Knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage, but is not essential.
