Loss Prevention Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated, full-time Loss Prevention Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be supported by the Loss Prevention Manager with daily operations, helping to maintain a safe and welcoming shopping environment for our customers and staff. Your duties will include: Greet customers and provide frontline security services Protection of valuable assets. Provide a strong presence of security. Making sure that no shoplifting happens during the shift. Physical response to security incidents. Be the first point of contact should any challenging situations arise Report any unusual activity Provide loss prevention support/services; play a vital role in keeping the team safe Have awareness of stock Duty Manager of the store while managers are away Duty manager checks during your rostered shift Here is what you will need: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. A good degree of physical fitness. Confidence using computers and familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to de-escalate situations and deal with a variety of people Previous experience in CCTV, control room monitoring and use of security related databases and equipment is advantageous (desired but not essential). A clean criminal record Great communication skills Good personal presentation An approachable nature Great work ethics What's in it for you?
