Job Description
Lead, coach & support a team of Kaiāwhina while making a meaningful difference in the lives of people with care needs in the Christchurch community. As a Support Worker Team Leader, you will lead and work alongside a team of Kaiāwhina to deliver safe, respectful, person‑centred support for people/tāngata with complex and high‑risk care needs, including disabilities and spinal injuries. Working closely with coordination and clinical teams, you will help ensure support is consistent, responsive, and aligned with individual support plans, while also building the confidence and capability of your team. You will support people in their own homes while guiding your team to deliver care that reflects each person’s culture, values, beliefs, routines, preferences, and boundaries.
