Nurse Prescriber – Waihi Health Centre Location: Waihi, New Zealand. Employment: Permanent, Full-Time or Part-Time. Waihi Health Centre is seeking an experienced Nurse Prescriber to join our dedicated and friendly team, including our PERMANENT GP . We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for a patient-centered, shared care model, to assist with our Long term conditions (LTC) clinic. This could be a shared role or a full time permanent position. About Us We are a community-focused clinic committed to providing high-quality healthcare to Care Plus patients, high-needs patients, and those requiring palliative care. Our services include in-clinic consultations and home visits when needed, ensuring continuity of care and support for our patients. What We’re Looking For A qualified Nurse Prescriber with current registration and prescribing authority. Strong clinical skills and experience in managing long-term conditions. Compassionate, patient-focused approach with excellent communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Flexibility to provide home visits when required. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive assessments and treatment plans for patients with chronic and complex health needs. Prescribe medications within your scope of practice. Support palliative care patients and their families with empathy and professionalism. Contribute to health education and promotion within the community.
