We’re looking for a commercially minded Senior Finance Analyst to join our Institutional and Business Banking Finance team. This role goes beyond traditional reporting, using data, automation and commercial insight to improve finance processes, support better decisions and influence strategic outcomes across the business. Drive data‑driven insights that support business performance and strategic objectives. Analyse financial performance across revenue, expenses and capital optimisation. Develop and enhance reporting, dashboards and visualisations that support decision‑making. Streamline and automate finance processes to improve accuracy and efficiency. Support transformation initiatives and drive continuous improvement across Finance. Build strong relationships with stakeholders and influence commercial outcomes. Contribute to risk management, compliance and robust financial controls. Ngā Haepapa Matua | Key Responsibilities Drive data‑driven insights that support business performance and strategic objectives. Strong Power BI experience, including Power Query, DAX and data storytelling. Experience working with data warehouses and dimensional modelling. Advanced analytical skills with tools such as SQL, Python, SAS, Cognos TM1, R or similar. Understanding of financial concepts including P&L, balance sheet and margin analysis. Experience delivering change, automation or transformation initiatives within complex organisations. Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering capability.
