The Community Services Team values teamwork and is seeking a motivated team member to join us in our team. In this role, you will work alongside our Blenheim-based team building strong relationships with disability, health, and community services, as well as community providers and funders. About the Role You will be supporting the wider Needs Assessment team with service co-ordination activity and communication processes, and you will have close working relationships with Wairau Hospital, other health agencies, community services and Iwi/Health providers. We will value your commitment to working within a restorative model and your experience of working with older people with a health-related disability or those under the age of 65 affected by complex health conditions. This is a fixed term part-time role up to 12 months, working 40 hours per fortnight (0.5 FTE), Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.00 AM to 5.00 PM. No on-call in this role. For more information on living and working in Marlborough click here About you We invite applications from experienced Clinical Needs Assessors who would work in a support role to the wider team: Be a motivated and enthusiastic individual, ideally with experience working with individuals with disabilities; Have knowledge and understanding of disability models of care and support desired; Hold a full driver's licence. We are looking for a person who: Has experience working with individuals with older adults or those with disabilities; Has the ability to work in both a team environment as well as independently; Is flexible and adaptable. Preference is given for applicants with an allied health background. The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
