Job Description
Hybrid working arrangements – office based in Wellington with flexible WFH options. Responsibilities The Payroll Advisor will verify and assure payroll data received via HR workflows, process and reconcile on‑cycle and off‑cycle pay runs, report on them, administer ACC, superannuation, deductions and process and reconcile final pays and overpayments. Working closely with the Payroll Manager, the role ensures timely delivery of accurate payroll services in compliance with all payroll‑related legislation. Qualifications Proven ability to develop trust and credibility with managers and staff. Payroll experience in a large organisation with proven experience operating HRIS and payroll systems, preferably SAP. Knowledge of relevant legislation that impacts the operation of payroll services. Highly developed problem‑solving and data analysis skills. Excellence in customer service and people‑centric relationship skills. Understanding and appreciation of cross‑cultural practices, in particular knowledge of tikanga Māori and Pacific peoples’ culture.
