Must-Have Technical Legacy to modern integrations: Maintain & modernize WCF/SOAP to REST/gRPC; XML/JSON/XSD/WSDL handling. CI/CD: Build and release pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions Code Quality: Unit/integration tests static code analysis Source control: Git (PRs, code reviews, branch policies). Troubleshooting & optimization: Debugging, profiling, root-cause analysis. Security: OAuth2 / OpenID Connect, Azure AD (Entra ID), secrets in Key Vault, OWASP API Security. Good-to-Have AI-assisted refactoring / code transformation experience (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Code Whisperer, Roslyn-based code fixers). Azure API Management (APIM): policies, throttling, versioning, productization. Observability stack: Open Telemetry tracing, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/EFK. Release strategies: Blue/green, canary, feature flags CRM integrations: Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or similar (plugins, webhooks, data sync). gRPC for high-performance internal services. Documentation: ADRs, sequence diagrams, Open API-first/contract-first workflows. Automation: Postman/Newman API tests in CI; performance tests (k6, JMeter).
