We are seeking a skilled and safety‑focused Streetlight Electrician to support the delivery of streetlighting contracts across Tauranga. This hands‑on role combines electrical maintenance with day‑to‑day leadership, ensuring safe, compliant, and high‑quality work across all streetlighting activities. About the role: Assist with the organisation of the Streetlight contracts inclusive of installations, repairs and maintenance of overhead and underground components associated with streetlights Carry out maintenance and fault repairs associated with streetlighting Ensure all projects are undertaken in a timely, safe and cost‑effective manner Undertake streetlight patrols, as required Maintain electrical wiring, machinery, instrumentation and control systems and components to required specifications ensuring economy, quality, reliability, safety and sustainability. About you: You are an experienced and capable electrician who enjoys hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and supporting others on site. You bring: Relevant trades qualifications and / or minimum 2 years post trade experience Experience in streetlighting maintenance, fault response, or electrical installations Strong knowledge of Electrical Wiring Regulations and industry standards Understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 Ability to coordinate resources, plan daily works, and solve problems on site Confidence working at heights and using EWPs Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach A collaborative mindset and willingness to support apprentices and trainees Valid full New Zealand Driver's License or ability to obtain one What's in it for you?
