Job Description
Do you want to work with Australia’s largest enterprises to enable their journey to the cloud? In this role you will ensure that all AWS teams and partners work together effectively to accelerate customers’ cloud journey. Key Job Responsibilities Lead end‑to‑end ownership of cloud transformation programs, including technical, operational, organizational, and educational initiatives. Serve as a trusted cloud migration advisor, interfacing with sales, solutions architecture, support, product, professional services, and partner teams. Leverage consulting, complex program‑management, and technology skills to translate customers’ strategic business objectives into executable plans and drive successful implementation. Provide prescriptive guidance based on AWS best practices to navigate customers’ biggest business and IT challenges. Advocate for customers within AWS leadership, product, and engineering teams to ensure their needs are accurately communicated. Engineer solutions and coach customers on AWS services to support the right adoption at the right time. Collaborate with customers to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives, facilitate change management, and establish new ways of working. Shape the Customer Solutions Management function by defining and implementing new processes, methodologies, and tools. Communicate confidently at executive and project‑team levels, managing time efficiently and engaging all required AWS, partner, and customer teams. Serve as a thought leader across Amazon organizations, sharing success mechanisms and influencing industry trends. A day in the life Lead cloud transformation programs across IT teams and business units. Act as the single threaded owner for migrations and strategic initiatives. Maintain deep knowledge of emerging cloud technologies to unlock customer opportunities. Accelerate customer adoption through education and enablement. Collaborate with customers to identify and prioritize initiatives, support change management, and facilitate AWS service adoption. Shape the Customer Solutions Management function by defining and implementing new processes, methodologies, and tools. Manage time effectively and align all required teams to accelerate the customer’s cloud journey. Be a thought leader across Amazon, sharing success mechanisms and influencing industry trends. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of leading large‑scale technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, realizing customer benefits, and successful program completion. Experience leading technical and non‑technical transformation project teams across broad functional disciplines. Experience in customer‑facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists, or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies. Preferred Qualifications AWS certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect) or equivalent cloud certification, or an associate’s degree or above. 10+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience, or a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field.
